By Best Seedance Prompts

This is a mini-course you can finish quickly. The goal is not perfection. The goal is learning what matters.

Minute 0-2: baseline prompt (safe default)

A single subject in a simple environment, cinematic realism.
Shot: medium shot, 35mm look, shallow depth of field.
Camera: slow dolly-in, smooth motion, no cuts.
Lighting: soft key, gentle rim light, controlled highlights.
Constraints: smooth motion, stable anatomy, no random events.

Exercise: swap only the subject. Keep everything else the same.

Minute 2-4: add one camera upgrade

Pick one:

  • parallax truck
  • orbit
  • crane reveal

Exercise: reroll three times, changing only the camera move.

Minute 4-6: lock one lighting recipe

Pick one lighting block from here: lighting recipes.

Exercise: reroll three times, changing only the palette.

Minute 6-8: add one beat of action

Keep action simple:

Action: one clear beat (turns, steps, reaches) and one reaction (expression change).

Exercise: reroll three times, changing only the action beat.

Minute 8-10: write your first "winner prompt"

Compress your best result into the 9-line format:

Done. You now have a repeatable workflow instead of a guessing game.
